The AVI-SPL Onsite Technical PM is responsible for delivering e2e experiences for company-wide Integration projects for client.
This role will assist in ensuring projects achieve quality, scope, budget, safety and customer satisfaction requirements and will work closely with the client on project delivery as client prepares to build new offices and expand existing ones. This role requires experience in managing the deployment of IT technical infrastructure such as AV systems, networking equipment, and structured cabling design.

  • 50% managing Audio Visual (AV) projects and deployments.
  • 20% managing infrastructure projects, including DNS, servers, networking, and edge computing initiatives.
  • 30% managing vendor relationships, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), contract renewals, vendor performance, and ongoing operational coordination.

This role requires experience managing the deployment of IT technical infrastructure such as AV systems, networking equipment, and structured cabling design, along with strong vendor management skills.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The AVI-SPL Onsite Technical PM is responsible for delivering e2e experiences for company-wide Integration projects for client.
This role will assist in ensuring projects achieve quality, scope, budget, safety and customer satisfaction requirements and will work closely with the client on project delivery as client prepares to build new offices and expand existing ones. This role requires experience in managing the deployment of IT technical infrastructure such as AV systems, networking equipment, and structured cabling design.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage a project through delivery, directing the project team, and influencing stakeholders.
  • Analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects.
  • Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones.
  • Hold regular technical project meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.
  • Determine and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives.
  • Update and maintain all production technologies ensuring proper maintenance and installation.
  • Help coordinate vendors with client teams and other external vendors

  • AVI-SPL reserves the right to alter work hours and work location as necessary. Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the account.
  • This position will generally work in a professional office environment as well as on customer sites and may deal with a construction site type of work environment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-Haves:
  • Minimum of 5-6 years in Project Management at a technology company, with 2-3 years of construction-related experience
  • Oversee structured cabling design and oversee vendor installation from implementation to the first day of business.
  • Experience with deployment of IT technical infrastructure such as AV systems and Networking equipment
  • Proven expertise as a contributor to cross-functional teams that launch on-time and on-budget solutions.
  • Ability to develop and execute a successful product roadmap, anticipate challenges and proactively head off obstacles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Prior experience with Product Management tools such as Aha!, Jira, Google Sheets, and Smartsheet
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and expertise in establishing guidelines in these areas for others.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams
  • Professional Project Management Certification from an accredited intuition
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
