We are hiring an experienced Electronic Systems Technician Level 1 (EST1) to join our Field Operations team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing installers, supporting project execution, and ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, and to NCS quality standards. The EST1 should be independently proficient in at least three of the systems installed by NCS, with the ability to install, terminate, program, test, troubleshoot, and maintain those systems with minimal technical assistance.

The EST1 will report directly to the Installation Manager, with secondary responsibility to the Project Manager assigned to each project.

What You'll Do

As an EST1, you will help lead the successful execution of installation projects by:

  • Providing daily leadership, direction, and support to installers in the field
  • Assigning tasks and prioritizing work to keep projects moving efficiently
  • Reviewing project scopes, plans, paperwork, and scopes of work before beginning each project
  • Verifying pick tickets, materials, equipment, and tools are available before leaving the office
  • Identifying and requesting missing or additional materials needed to complete projects
  • Independently completing system terminations at main equipment and ensuring proper connections
  • Installing, programming, testing, and troubleshooting systems to ensure proper functionality
  • Maintaining and updating record drawings to accurately reflect as-built conditions
  • Independently completing work on at least three NCS-installed systems
  • Providing daily project progress updates to the assigned Project Manager
  • Communicating professionally with customers and addressing questions or concerns
  • Conducting jobsite safety checks and ensuring compliance with OSHA requirements
  • Safely operating aerial lifts and powder-actuated fastening tools
  • Performing CPR and first aid when needed in emergency situations
  • Maintaining clean, organized, and secure jobsites
  • Properly securing tools, materials, and equipment left at customer locations
  • Maintaining a clean and organized company vehicle and reporting maintenance needs to the supervisor
  • Supporting other team members and contributing to a team-first work environment

What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or training preferred
  • Previous experience in electronic systems installation, field service, or a related technical trade
  • Experience providing leadership or direction to installation teams
  • Ability to independently install, terminate, program, test, and troubleshoot at least three systems installed by NCS
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • CPR certification
  • Aerial Lift certification
  • Powder-Actuated Fastener certification
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
