Field Project Manager 


Job Overview:

  • Salary/Pay Rate: $110,000 - $130,000 per year (Plus Performance-Based Bonus)
  • Location:New York, NY , Rahway, NJ, & Client sites ( 10% Travel)
  • Job/Employment Type: Full Time
  • Project Scope: Commercial Low Voltage, Structured Cabling, Security & Audiovisual
  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: OSHA SST Supervisor (62 Hour) is preferred but at minimum OSHA SST (40 Hour)
  • Preferred Certifications: RCDD, RTPM, PMP

You will play a key field leadership role, overseeing complex low-voltage technology systems from initial site coordination through installation, testing, and final turnover. In this role, you will shape high-impact projects while gaining broad exposure across the business in an environment that actively promotes initiative and professional growth. You will drive operational excellence alongside a collaborative, hands-on team dedicated to helping you succeed.


How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Direct daily field operations and installation teams across active commercial sites to ensure high-quality project execution.
  • Manage project scope, scheduling, labor budgets, and logistics to keep every phase running profitably and on schedule.
  • Coordinate field activities with clients, general contractors, construction managers, and trade partners to align on design intent.
  • Oversee material logistics, inventory tracking, and shipments to ensure seamless jobsite deliveries without project delays.
  • Resolve real-time field issues, technical challenges, and scheduling conflicts before they impact project timelines.
  • Drive field safety standards, quality control inspections, and system testing through final client turnover.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Extensive hands-on experience leading field operations for commercial technology and low voltage installation projects.
  • Proven background managing structured cabling (copper/fiber), access control, security systems, and audiovisual technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise field crews, sub-contractors, and material logistics across active construction sites.
  • Strong expertise in managing labor budgets, site execution strategies, and contractor communications.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret complex project plans and schedules.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • 7+ years of related work experience in commercial field project management.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Active technical or safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, Fall Protection, Lifts, Manufacturer Certifications).
