As anEstimatorat Fisk Electric, reporting tothe Chief Estimator,you will have the opportunity to:
Responsible for multiple systems on resort hotels, high-end retail, data centers, and F1 projects
Participate in fully engineered estimates up to $5M
Understand the concepts and process of conceptual estimates and budgets up to $1M
Review the scope specified within the proposal and ensure estimates include appropriate scope
Develop detailed cost estimates and proactively identify deficiencies and/or questions; actively assist the project team toward the answers
Review contract documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and equitable cost allowance for scope changes
Proficient with estimating software
Working knowledge of McCormick and Bluebeam
Proven accuracy, reliability and completeness in job accomplishment
Effective oral and written communication skills
Review Estimate take-offs
Understanding and familiarity with NEC
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, construction management or similar is preferred
2 or more years of electrical estimating experience
2 or more years experience working for an electrical subcontractor
Computer literate and able to quickly master and apply department's computer systems and software
