Job description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Lead Technician to support structured cabling and network infrastructure projects in the Montgomery area. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong expertise in fiber optics and copper cabling who can lead field teams, ensure quality installations, and deliver projects safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, terminate, splice, and test fiber optic, UTP, and multi-conductor copper cabling systems.
  • Perform cable testing, troubleshooting, and certification using industry-standard equipment.
  • Complete installation documentation, test reports, as-built drawings, and quality assurance records.
  • Conduct site surveys and evaluate project requirements before installation begins.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, customers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead and mentor technicians and installers on job sites.
  • Ensure all work meets safety requirements, company standards, and customer specifications.
  • Track project progress and provide updates to project leadership.
  • Maintain project schedules and support successful project completion.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62499.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
