Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Expert TIG Aluminum Welder to join our production team. If you possess exceptional precision, master-level control of thin-gauge aluminum, and a commitment to flawless aesthetics, we want to hear from you. Marine Industry.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Precision Welding : Perform high-quality TIG (GTAW) welding on aluminum assemblies, ranging from thin sheets to heavy structures.
  • Blueprint Reading : Interpret complex technical drawings, weld symbols, and engineering specifications.
  • Fit-up & Fabrication : Position, align, and secure parts prior to welding using jigs, fixtures, and turn-tables.
  • Quality Control : Inspect your own welds visually and utilize non-destructive testing methods to ensure zero defects.
  • Equipment Maintenance : Set up, fine-tune, and maintain TIG welding machines, including gas flow, frequency, and balance controls. 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience : Minimum of 3+ years of dedicated aluminum TIG welding experience.
  • Certifications : Current or prior AWS D1.2 (Structural Welding Code—Aluminum) certification is highly preferred.
  • Technical Mastery : Expert knowledge of aluminum metallurgy, distortion control, and pre-heating techniques.
  • Skill Assessment : Must be able to pass a rigorous hands-on welding test during the interview process.
