Project Overview:
Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As part of this work, the M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish-out a leading-edge chipmaking facility - a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential to success. The project supports the continued expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity, contributing to a more resilient technology supply chain while creating significant opportunity for the local Arizona workforce. Joining the Fab 62 team means contributing directly to one of the most strategically important construction efforts in the United States and helping deliver the infrastructure behind the next generation of microelectronics."
Job Summary:
Assigned to a field construction organization in a supervisory capacity. Responsible for supervising and directing operations within assigned discipline and area. Supervises direct hire Craft Professional activities, potential subcontractors, and others, as assigned. Ensuring assigned construction operations and discipline specific performance are following safety standards, specifications, within schedule time frames, and on budget. Performs general functions inherent in all Craft Professional supervisory field positions.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct structural construction activities, including daily work planning, safe execution, quality, productivity, and schedule performance.
  • Plan workforce, materials, tools, and equipment needed to complete assigned structural work in alignment with project priorities and construction schedules.
  • Review completed work to confirm it meets approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, safety standards, and project procedures.
  • Coordinate with field engineering, quality, subcontractors, other disciplines, and craft leadership to resolve field issues and maintain workface readiness.
  • Track progress, installed quantities, productivity, and schedule performance; identify issues early and support corrective actions.
  • Support procurement and field material needs for tools, consumables, and non-permanent materials required for assigned work.
  • Coach and develop craft supervision and field teams while promoting safe, collaborative, and high-quality construction execution.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8 -10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong field supervision experience in structural steel construction, including erection, rigging, bolting, welding, decking, embeds, access planning, and crane coordination.
  • Ability to lead craft professionals through foremen and general foremen, set clear daily priorities, monitor productivity, and reinforce safe work practices.
  • Working knowledge of construction planning, schedules, work packages, labor forecasting, material flow, quantity reporting, and tool and equipment readiness.
  • Ability to read and apply engineering drawings, specifications, vendor information, design changes, inspection requirements, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Sound judgment in resolving field issues, coordinating constructability solutions, and applying safety, quality, and project execution requirements.
  • Effective communication, coordination, and leadership skills with the ability to coach others and work well across construction, engineering, quality, and project controls teams.
