Job Title: Structural Welder
Location: Stockton, CA
Pay Rate: Starting at $24.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time (overtime as needed)


Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join a fast-paced steel fabrication team. This role is responsible for welding structural steel components according to blueprints and specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship for commercial and industrial projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) on structural steel components
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols
  • Fit, align, and weld parts in accordance with specifications and tolerances
  • Operate welding equipment, grinders, torches, and other fabrication tools
  • Inspect welds to ensure structural integrity and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
  • Collaborate with fitters, fabricators, and supervisors to meet production goals


Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of structural welding experience preferred
  • Proficiency in MIG and/or FCAW welding processes
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand weld symbols
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, standing, bending)
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a structural steel or fabrication shop
