We are seeking inexperienced and expert Pest Control Technician to work in our Jackson, MS facility.

Are you an organized, strong communicator with a keen attention to detail and a positive attitude? Do you consider yourself collaborative and able to work well with customers, peers, and managers?
If so, we are looking for someone like you. If you've got what it takes, we'll provide the rest.
Specific Duties: Our exterminators work closely with residents and supervisors at multi-family housing to tackle pest problems and put our customer's mind at ease. As a Pest Control Technician, you will identify pest problems and recommend pest control programs using your expertise and the latest in pest control technology. You will communicate procedures, sanitation and structural corrections with residents and management supervisors all while providing the highest level quality of service.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
  • Inspect and treat for pests, pest harborage, and pest entries
  • Follow all safety procedures and instructions throughout every step of the process
  • Travel to residences and apartment complexes and inspect for pests
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Maintain your vehicle and all equipment at a high standard of cleanliness and maintenance
  • Complete all paperwork and route logs accurately and timely
  • Respond to customer and client requests in a timely manner
  • Maintain high service standards at all times
  • Take personal initiative and responsibility for correcting pest problems
  • Suggest and sell services that meet customer needs
  • Participate in group meetings and account reviews
  • Complete ongoing independent and group training
  • Be an interactive member in a team environment

  • You have previous outdoor working experience including maintenance, construction or other physical work experience.
  • You have 6 years of driving experience with a clean driving record
  • You can pass a pre-employment drug screening and Criminal Background check
  • You can satisfactorily complete initial technical training and State Certification and Licensing requirements
  • You will participate in regular in-house workshops to improve your skills and learn new methods and techniques.
  • You are comfortable working with insects and various animals in a variety of environmental conditions and confined spaces
  • You can perform the physical requirements of this role including standing, walking, climbing, lifting, bending, reaching, crawling, squatting and moving around
  • You work well independently and as part of a team
  • You are comfortable dealing with the public

  • You are reliable and punctual for all work assignments

Education and /or experience:
  • High School diploma or General Education Degree.
