What You Will Do Assist with engineering projects related to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Storm Water Management Program. Plan, design, construction management, product evaluation, research & development, system optimization, database management, and Geographical Information System (GIS) mapping. May participate in periodic cross training and supplementary work activities within the division to comply with regulatory obligations.

Applicable Skills Needed Knowledge of: Principles and practices of general civil engineering Engineering mathematics and mechanics of materials Topographic surveying principles and practices Structural, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and sanitary engineering concepts as they apply to civil engineering Ability to: Perform engineering drafting and basic design work Interpret engineering plans, specifications, and land descriptions Plot and analyze survey notes Prepare maps, plans, profiles, and cross-sections Substitution: A Master's degree in Civil Engineering from a regionally-accredited college or university will substitute for the one year of non-registered professional civil engineering experience.
