Located in Kelowna, British Columbia, Multi-Power Products Ltd. is a leading Canadian manufacturer of exploratory drilling and industrial equipment, including custom-built drilling machinery. Our team, from designers to fabricators to management, takes a customer-first approach and upholds these values in every decision.


We are constantly growing and currently looking for a skilled mechanic to join our team as an Assembly Technician


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assemble exploration drilling equipment; control panels, engines, structural, power units, top drives
  • Be able to read and understand schematics (hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical)/shop drawings
  • Be able to trouble shoot, diagnose and service a wide range of hydraulic equipment
  • Adjust equipment and repair/replace bad parts, pieces or systems using hand and power tools
  • Test new equipment for proper performance and make sure that work meets specifications
  • Start up & testing


WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Mostly indoors, Service/Assembly Department
  • Eye protection and steel toed boots required on site


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Post-Secondary training OR Mechanical and/or hydraulic background
  • 5+ years related experience is a plus
  • Drilling exp. is an asset
  • Hydraulic/Electrical exp. is an asset
  • Good communication skills
  • Minimum class 5 driver’s license
  • Personal tools
