The Senior Manager II, Site Engineer - Supply Chain, leads strategic partnerships within the Distribution Center to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. This role oversees process quality engineering workloads, applies advanced problem-solving methodologies, and supports performance systems to enhance efficiency and reduce losses. The position requires managing multiple projects, developing business plans, and fostering a high-performing team environment through coaching and mentorship. The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, adaptability, and adherence to company standards, ensuring sustained improvements that align with organizational goals and customer needs.
About the team:
The team manages and supports automated grocery building control centers, serving as experts in network grocery automation. They lead project implementation and sustainment by collaborating with stakeholders to define objectives, assess risks, and drive continuous improvement. The team develops tools to enhance project analytics and operational efficiency, provides training support, and ensures alignment with business goals while managing organizational change. Focused on delivering results through effective project and risk management, the team plays a vital role in advancing Walmart’s supply chain operations with professionalism and integrity.
What you'll do:
  • Lead strategic partnerships with site leadership to drive end-to-end improvements within the Distribution Center.
  • Manage and balance workloads of Process Quality Engineers to support network and site-specific projects.
  • Apply continuous improvement methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control to eliminate losses and sustain process enhancements.
  • Support Daily Management System reviews by analyzing performance metrics and implementing corrective actions.
  • Drive execution of business plans by identifying operational needs, removing barriers, and adjusting priorities to meet performance standards.
  • Mentor and develop associates to build high-performing teams aligned with company values and ethics.
  • Evaluate and improve operational plans and initiatives to enhance efficiency.

The annual salary range for this position is $128,000.00 - $192,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long term savings.
