What does a structural analysis intern do?

A Structural Analysis Intern assists engineers in evaluating the strength, stability, and rigidity of structures such as buildings, bridges, and aircraft. Their main responsibilities often include supporting calculations, creating models using software like AutoCAD or ANSYS, and preparing technical reports. Interns learn to use various analysis tools, help with testing materials, and contribute to design reviews. The internship offers valuable hands-on experience and is usually supervised by experienced structural engineers.
