• Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans geared towards addressing clients' mental health needs.
• Facilitate individual counseling and therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's situation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting progress and modifying treatment strategies as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Implement ongoing support for clients dealing with mental health diagnoses or substance use disorders, while ensuring adherence to ethical and privacy standards.
• Participate in regular staff meetings, fostering open communication and collaboration to enhance the overall client care process.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, sharing insights and strategies that contribute to comprehensive service delivery.
• Manage a diverse caseload effectively, prioritizing tasks while maintaining a proactive approach to client engagement.

The Fast Strike Wellness Clinic serves individuals from varied backgrounds, including those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use-related issues. As a counselor, you will work with clients of all ages, adapting your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. Your ability to build strong, meaningful relationships will be crucial in creating a safe and welcoming environment for clients as they navigate their mental health journeys.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is required.
• An active state license such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC is essential for this role.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience is required to ensure that candidates possess necessary skills and knowledge.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are crucial for effectively navigating client needs and therapeutic challenges.
• Proven capacity to establish and nurture strong, therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse sectors of society.

• Experience working in a community mental health setting or a similar environment would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based treatment practices.
• Knowledge of local resources and support systems for individuals facing mental health challenges or substance use disorders.
