As we continue to grow, we are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations within our distribution center. This role is critical in ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and timely fulfillment of customer orders.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for directing and coordinating all warehouse activities, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, staffing, safety compliance, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is an organized leader who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment and has a strong commitment to operational excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the distribution center, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse team members, including leads, forklift operators, pickers, packers, and shipping personnel.
  • Plan and assign workloads to meet shipping deadlines and customer service expectations.
  • Monitor receiving, storage, inventory control, order picking, packing, and outbound shipping activities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable OSHA and workplace safety standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, workflow efficiency, and cost control.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, order accuracy, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including customer service, sales, purchasing, and transportation providers.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shipping issues, and operational challenges.
  • Participate in recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and disciplinary processes for warehouse employees.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment is properly maintained and operating safely.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of warehouse supervisory or management experience, preferably in a distribution or apparel environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control practices, and shipping procedures.
  • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions as necessary in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
