Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director, Water Treatment (Industrial), to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within the Industrial water treatment sector. You will attain key performance metrics by developing and executing strategic sales plans for our innovative water treatment solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities, and allow the organization to meet key performance objectives.

  • Create, administer, and implement winning business development strategies that the company should pursue related to all aspects of the water treating business
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the Industrial sector.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships: Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Provide technical expertise: Act as a subject matter expert on water treatment technologies.
  • Manage existing distribution network, develop new channels to market in the water segment
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in water treatment for industrial operations.
  • Represent the organization in various functions like conferences, showcases, and seminars to create awareness about the organization products and generate potential leads
  • Track and report on various marketing strategies to improve on the winning strategies, adjust the ineffective strategies, or change to a new strategy
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals: Effectively communicate the value proposition of our water treatment solutions to potential clients.
  • Negotiate and close deals: Drive profitable sales contracts and ensure timely revenue recognition.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with engineering, operations, and customer service teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets: Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Represent the company at industry events: Attend and participate in conferences, trade shows, and other industry events to network and generate leads.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or another business-related field required
  • 3+ years of sales experience required in the water treatment industry
  • Experience in industrial water treating
  • High level of organizational skills required
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills required
  • Excellent written and communication skills required
  • Comfortable using technology as an integral part of the sales process required

Work Environment - Conditions vary and include:

  • Controlled office environment
  • Travel expected: 33%

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
