Description
We are seeking a compassionate and creative Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. As an OT, you will help patients of all ages regain independence and improve their ability to perform daily activities following illness, injury, or developmental challenges. Your work will make a direct impact on patients' quality of life by promoting function, safety, and confidence in everyday environments.
Key responsibilities include evaluating patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities; developing customized treatment plans; guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and activities; and recommending adaptive tools and home modifications. You will also educate patients and caregivers, document progress, and collaborate closely with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other care team members.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, empathy, and adaptability, as you'll be supporting patients with a variety of needs-from stroke recovery and post-surgical care to sensory integration and chronic conditions. You may work in hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools, or home health settings.
