Job description

Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is a company seeking a Mainframe (COBOL) developer. The role involves designing and developing applications on the Client Nonstop platform, with a focus on credit card financial workflows and various programming languages including COBOL and C.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5 years of experience in Client Nonstop application development, or related experience.
• Software engineering experience in design and development using Platform Client Non Stop (Tandem).
• Demonstrated knowledge of credit card financial workflows and models.
• Experience using the following programming languages on Client Nonstop: C, COBOL, Java/Core Java, TAL, and TACL.
• Experience using distributed database query language ENFORM.
• Experience with query development on relational databases using SQL, SCF, SQL CI, and SQL/MP.
• Experience with monitoring, control and management tools including Control-M, TMF, Netbatch and Prognosys, NSGIT, TCP/IP, and Pathway.
• Experience with streaming software Kafka for data distribution.
Preferred:
• US Citizen/ GC /EAD (H4/L2/TN) preferred
