Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Graphic Designer will work collaboratively with the Austin marketing team and brokerage professionals to elevate the creative output of Stream’s Austin office. Working closely with the Strategic Marketing Manager, this role shapes the visual identity of pursuits and proposals, property and building branding, property marketing campaigns, and digital, social, and email content.

You are a designer with a strong creative vision, capable of developing distinctive design styles and translating them into scalable systems and toolkits the broader team can leverage, raising the creative bar for the entire office. You are forward-thinking about emerging technology and actively explore how AI can sharpen and accelerate the design workflow. You communicate with clarity and confidence, contribute meaningfully in meetings, and collaborate easily with a wide range of personalities, from marketers to brokers to market leaders, all while managing multiple competing deadlines.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with the Strategic Marketing Manager, marketing team, and brokerage teams to concept and produce best-in-class marketing deliverables, including pursuits and proposals, property and building branding, property marketing materials, and digital, social, and email campaigns.
  • Develop original design styles, visual systems, and creative concepts that elevate the team’s creative direction and can be adopted and extended by other team members.
  • Champion the thoughtful implementation of AI in the design workflow by exploring, testing, and rolling out tools and techniques that improve speed, quality, and creative possibility.
  • Build and maintain scalable templates, asset libraries, and brand toolkits that create efficiencies and consistency across the team’s deliverables, including vendor relations for production.
  • Assess projects holistically, identify missing pieces, and communicate proactively with marketers and brokers to move work forward quickly and clearly.
  • Participate actively in meetings and presentations, articulating creative concepts and design rationale with confidence to a range of personalities across our brokerage and marketing teams.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with excellent attention to detail.
  • Apply strong knowledge of production methods, materials, and print and digital best practices across all deliverables.
Qualifications
  • BA or BFA in a design-related field from an accredited university
  • A minimum of 5 years as a graphic designer or similar role
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals, versatility across styles, and the ability to define and execute a creative vision
  • Real estate experience preferred (any asset class or product type).
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat)
  • Genuine curiosity about AI in the creative process is required; hands-on fluency with AI design tools and workflows (e.g., Adobe Firefly, AI-assisted production) is preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organization, project management, and communication skills, with the presence to participate in meetings and collaborate across a range of personalities
  • Ability to (1) work autonomously and effectively and cross-manage multiple projects at one time and (2) work collaboratively with the marketing team and internal clients
  • Ability to shift priorities and deliver projects on a timely basis, well organized, excellent time management skills and ability to interface with local executives
  • Can champion and become an expert in design, production and printing best practices
  • Continuously drive for improvement and sustainable change, intellectually curious, flexible, and adaptable
  • Has a structured approach to problem solving
