Position Summary

The Revit/BIM/Stratus Engineer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of digital construction workflows for building projects. This role focuses on developing and managing intelligent 3D models using Autodesk Revit, BIM 360, and Stratus Fabrication to ensure efficient collaboration between design, detailing, and field teams

Job Description:

Modeling & Documentation

  • Develop and maintain 3D Revit models for MEP systems in compliance with company and project BIM standards.

  • Create and update fabrication-ready models linked with Stratus, ensuring seamless coordination with shop drawings and field installation.

  • Produce detailed construction documents, schedules, and assemblies directly from the BIM environment.

  • Maintain accurate as-built models throughout project progression.

Data & Workflow Management

  • Set up and manage BIM workflows within Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360 / ACC environments.

  • Integrate and synchronize model data between Revit, Navisworks, Stratus, and ERP/fabrication systems.

  • Support preconstruction and estimating teams with model-based quantity takeoffs and visualizations.

  • Ensure adherence to company BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and quality standards.

Stratus & Fabrication Integration

  • Manage model exports, spool drawings, and parts lists for fabrication and installation using Stratus.

  • Coordinate with fabrication shops to ensure model accuracy, part tagging, and status tracking.

  • Assist in the development and optimization of digital fabrication workflows.

Training & Support

  • Provide technical support to project teams in Revit, Stratus, and BIM-related tools.

  • Train staff on model navigation, data extraction, and field usage of BIM technology.

  • Contribute to process improvement and implementation of emerging VDC technologies.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. HS Degree/GED required.

  • 2-5 years of experience in BIM/Revit modeling within the building construction industry.

  • Experience using Revit Stratus, BIM 360 / ACC, Navisworks, or similar tools is strongly preferred.

  • Field or fabrication experience is a plus (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or structural trades).

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.

  • Working knowledge of Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and Stratus

  • Understanding of construction sequencing, detailing, and coordination workflows.

  • Familiarity with point cloud data, laser scanning, and model-to-field applications is a plus.

  • Strong grasp of BIM standards (LOD, BEP, COBie, etc.) and coordination best practices.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Passion for digital construction and continuous process improvement.
