Summary:
At Aptiv Interconnect, we inspire the world's most innovative teams by doing the right thing, the right way. We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Supply Chain Manager to drive our supply chain efficiency and support our scaling business operations.
This role is critical to strengthening our cross-site collaboration, improving visibility into demand and inventory, and standardizing processes that support our operational goals. You will work closely with the leadership team to build rapport, improve automation, and drive the supply chain strategy for our Hermetics division.
Leadership & Core Responsibilities:
Strategic Supply Chain Ownership
  • Forecast Buying & Planning: Lead forecasting and planning efforts to ensure optimal stock levels and production flow.
  • Supplier Management: Implement and manage supplier scorecards and reviews to ensure accountability and performance.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Drive the transition to more automated processes, leveraging our ERP system to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Technical Execution
  • Long-Term Agreements: Develop and execute purchasing strategies focused on long-term agreements to stabilize costs and supply.
  • Operational Structure: Build and standardize purchasing and planning processes, including implementing ABC coding to optimize inventory management.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with purchasing staff and production leadership to keep up with daily requirements while driving strategic initiatives forward.

Position Requirements:
Education & Technical Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, purchasing, or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Industry Domain: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Visual, Global Shop) and knowledge of AS9100 or ITAR requirements are highly desirable.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of U.S. export controls and industry regulatory standards.

Certifications & Competencies:
  • Certifications: APICS (CPIM/CSCP) or PMP preferred.
  • Systems Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and data analysis/dashboarding tools.
  • Core Competencies: Strong negotiation skills, root cause analysis, and the ability to drive change in a manual-process-heavy environment.
