Job Purpose

The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading the execution of enterprise sourcing strategies across facility services trades to ensure strong vendor coverage, competitive pricing, service quality, and operational scalability. This role drives sourcing excellence by overseeing vendor optimization, supplier performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational efficiency and financial performance. As a key leader within the Strategic Sourcing department, the Strategic Sourcing Manager translates strategic objectives into actionable programs through effective leadership of sourcing personnel, cross-functional collaboration, and execution of procurement transformation and category management initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing Execution: Lead sourcing initiatives across facility service trades to ensure strong vendor coverage, competitive pricing, service consistency, and operational scalability across all markets.
  • Vendor Network & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage supplier relationships while overseeing vendor onboarding, performance management, risk mitigation, and supplier consolidation initiatives.
  • Contract Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Drive RFPs, RFQs, bid events, and contract negotiations to achieve cost savings, operational efficiencies, favorable service agreements, and long-term vendor value.
  • Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Utilize spend analytics, market intelligence, and operational metrics to develop sourcing strategies, monitor KPIs, improve procurement processes, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership & Strategic Partnership: Partner with Operations, Finance, Legal, Vendor Relations, and Executive Leadership to align sourcing initiatives with business objectives, support expansion efforts, and execute enterprise-wide procurement transformation programs.

Requirements
  • Industry Experience: 58+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or strategic sourcing leadership, preferably within facility management, Integrated Facility Management (IFM), construction services, or related multi-site service industries.
  • Education & Business Acumen: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • Strategic Sourcing Expertise: Proven experience managing RFPs, bid analysis, supplier selection, contract negotiations, vendor performance management, and sourcing strategy development across multiple trades and geographic markets.
  • Analytical & Technical Skills: Strong ability to analyze pricing structures, operational costs, market benchmarks, and sourcing analytics; familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) preferred.
  • Leadership & Process Improvement: Demonstrated success leading sourcing or vendor management teams and developing scalable sourcing processes, supplier governance programs, operational efficiencies, and procurement transformation initiatives in fast-paced environments.
