Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our Strategic Portfolio Management team and develop the enterprise systems that help teams plan, collaborate, and deliver. The team builds and modernizes work-management platforms that connect business priorities with execution across NVIDIA. This role sits at the intersection of business systems analysis, platform engineering, and responsible AI, using automation and data-driven insights to remove friction and improve decisions. Unlike a traditional analyst position, this role owns solutions from discovery and rapid prototyping through configuration, launch, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead focused discovery workshops with business users, product owners, engineering teams, and platform partners to uncover workflow friction, clarify outcomes, and identify high-value opportunities for AI, automation, or process simplification.

  • Translate business needs and user feedback into clear functional, technical, and data requirements. Include measurable success criteria. Challenge feature requests that do not address the underlying need.

  • Own solutions from intake through production: evaluate feasibility, AI suitability, data readiness, dependencies, and risks; prototype promising concepts; and coordinate building, configuration, testing, deployment, documentation, and adoption.

  • Configure, coordinate, and optimize enterprise work-management platforms and connected capabilities, including projects, workflows, forms, fields, permissions, notifications, dashboards, reporting, integrations, scripts, and intelligent experiences.

  • Build scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that balance user experience, business value, platform standards, data privacy, responsible-AI practices, and long-term operational health.

  • Partner across business and technology teams to run user acceptance testing, incorporate feedback, guide transitions and training, and confirm that delivered solutions produce measurable outcomes for NVIDIA.

  • Sustain platform reliability by fixing sophisticated issues, handling access and governance, supervising health, documenting processes, and supporting upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a comparable field, or equivalent experience.

  • More than 12 years of pertinent experience in business systems analysis, enterprise application or platform engineering, software delivery, or a related area.

  • Hands-on experience coordinating and configuring Jira or a comparable enterprise work-management platform, including workflows, fields, forms, permissions, dashboards, reporting, and integrations.

  • Experience in automation or scripting with Python, Groovy, or a comparable language, along with practical knowledge of database concepts, data management, and SQL.

  • Proven ability leading discovery, gathering requirements, translating user needs into practical solution builds, and partnering optimally with both business and technical collaborators.

  • Practical experience assessing, prototyping, or deploying AI-enabled solutions such as generative AI, copilots, intelligent agents, or large language model integrations within enterprise workflows.

  • Strong analytical, consultative, communication, prioritization, and ownership skills, including the ability to diagnose sophisticated workflow, technical, data-quality, and AI-output issues and drive work to completion.

  • Familiarity with data privacy, security, responsible-AI, and enterprise-governance approaches, together with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, or software development lifecycle techniques.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Deep experience with the Atlassian ecosystem, including Rovo, Jira, Focus, Talent, Confluence, Jira Align, or Atlassian Strategy Collection.

  • Experience planning or accomplishing migrations from Atlassian Server or Data Center to Atlassian Cloud.

  • Experience governing multiple enterprise Jira instances and establishing configuration standards, platform guardrails, or responsible-AI controls.

  • Experience with large language model APIs, agentic workflows, low-code or no-code AI platforms, enterprise knowledge integrations, and assessment of AI quality, reliability, performance, and adoption.

  • Background in software development, technology delivery, project or product management, process improvement, workflow development, or supporting organizational evolution.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 168,000 USD - 270,250 USD.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.

Applications for this job will be accepted at least until September 14, 2026.
