Job description

Strategic Partnerships Advisor

About the Role

Our partner is a global leader in digital government and education technology solutions, expanding into the United States with Chicago as its planned hub. This role offers a rare opportunity to help establish a proven digital innovation platform within the U.S. education ecosystem.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly respected, well-connected senior leader to serve as a Strategic Partnerships Advisor. This is a fractional, high-impact role focused on opening doors, shaping market entry strategy, and securing foundational partnerships across the Midwest education and EdTech landscape.

This role is intentionally designed for senior operators who want to leverage their network and experience without taking on full-time operational responsibility.

Why This Role Stands Out

โ€ข High Impact: Play a foundational role in U.S. market entry

โ€ข Network-Driven: Activate and leverage decades of relationships

โ€ข Focused Mandate: Strategic influence without day-to-day execution

โ€ข Global Exposure: Collaborate with international leadership and public sector stakeholders

โ€ข Outcome-Oriented: Clear goal of securing 2โ€“3 high-value strategic partnerships

Location

Chicago / Midwest (Hybrid, Fractional)

Key Responsibilities

โ€ข Leverage network to open doors and facilitate introductions across:

o K-12 school districts and education systems

o EdTech platforms and organizations

o Consulting firms serving the education sector

โ€ข Advise on U.S. market positioning, partnership strategy, and go-to-market approach

โ€ข Identify, shape, and help secure 2โ€“3 high-impact strategic partnerships

โ€ข Serve as a trusted advisor and ambassador within the Midwest education ecosystem

Ideal Profile

โ€ข Former or current senior leader in:

o K-12 education (Superintendent, CIO, Innovation Leader)

o State or regional education systems

o EdTech companies or education-focused consulting firms

โ€ข Deep, active network across Midwest education and EdTech ecosystems

โ€ข Strong reputation built through leadership, execution, and industry impact

โ€ข Relationship-driven with a practical, commercially minded approach

โ€ข Open to fractional, advisory-based engagement with success-based incentives

About Our Partner

Our partner delivers secure, scalable digital solutions across education, infrastructure, and public sector systems. Their platforms are designed to modernize how institutions operate, enabling efficiency, transparency, and long-term impact at scale.
