As a Group School Sales Intern, you will gain meaningful experience supporting strategic sales initiatives while developing skills that prepare you for a future career in healthcare sales, account management, marketing, and business development.

As a CVS Health Intern, you will participate in:

The Group School Sales Internship Program is a 10.5-week, full-time opportunity running from May 2027 through August 2027 (dates to be confirmed).

This is a hybrid position based in Hartford, CT, requiring interns to work in the office three days per week (typically Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). The remaining two days may be worked remotely.

Internship Program Details

The hourly rate for this role is $26/hour, based on a 40-hour work week. Interns will not work on July 4, a company holiday, and will receive two days of paid leave. In addition to experiential learning opportunities, successful interns will have an increased likelihood of being considered for future opportunities with CVS Health.

Sponsorship

Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This includes participation in Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), and F-1 visa programs.

Relocation

Relocation assistance may be available for eligible candidates for the duration of the internship.

As a Group School Sales Intern, you will:

  • Support sales-related projects aligned with the Aetna Commercial business
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and account management teams
  • Learn how strategic sales tools and communications contribute to business growth
  • Gain exposure to healthcare sales strategies, client engagement, and business development activities

Group School Sales Interns may also be considered for future participation in CVS Health's Group School Leadership Development Program , a rotational development program designed to prepare participants for careers in healthcare sales and account management.

  • Presenting recommendations, findings, and project outcomes to business leaders and key stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Anticipated graduation date between September 2027 and August 2028
  • Willingness to commute to or relocate to the Hartford, CT area for the duration of the internship
  • Demonstrated interest in sales, healthcare, business development, or account management
  • Interest in pursuing future career opportunities within CVS Health

  • Demonstrated leadership experience through campus organizations, athletics, volunteer work, employment, or project-based activities
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
  • Motivated, coachable, and interested in developing within a client-facing sales environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
  • Previous internship, work, or project experience in business, healthcare, sales, marketing, or a related field
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities
