Job Title: Midweight Designer

Location: New York Office

Reporting Into: Design Director

We are seeking a talented and experienced midweight designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will play a key part in the conceptualisation and execution of visually stunning designs for luxury events and brand activations.The ideal candidate will have a strong design portfolio, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for luxury aesthetics.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the creative team to develop innovative and engaging design concepts for luxury events and brand activations.
  • Graphic design- Create high-quality visual assets, including mood boards, event graphics, digital content, presentations, and print materials.
  • Brand & industry awareness- Ensure all design work aligns with the client’s brand guidelines and the agency’s high standards of luxury- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, integrating new ideas and technologies into design work.
  • Project management- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project deadlines and deliverables, whilst maintaining clear and calm communication of timelines.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure cohesive and seamless execution of design elements.
  • Communicate effectively to manage expectations on deliverables and deadlines.
  • Participate in client meetings, present design concepts, and incorporate client feedback into final designs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of professional design experience, preferably within the luxury sector or a high-end.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., adobe creative suite - photoshop, illustrator).
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including event or experiential designs.
  • Understanding of the logistical aspects of guest journeys in an event setting (desirable).
