Job Description
Lee is looking to hire Overhead Distribution crews to support work across Virginia. We seek to hire candidates with a thorough understanding of the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical distribution systems and are looking to fill the following classifications:
Foreman
1st Class Lineman
2nd Class Lineman
3rd Class Lineman
Operator
Groundman
We have a few requirements for joining our team:
  • Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL
  • Must be trainable in CPR and First Aid.
  • Must have physical strength and stamina to perform duties required to lift heavy objects, assist in construction, climbing, digging, and operate in various weather conditions.
  • Must complete in-person Safety Training, Department of Transportation (DOT) background check/DOT drug screen

What You'll Bring:
  • Must have 3-4 years experience related to overhead line construction.
  • Must understand electrical terms used in linework.
  • Must have a valid Class A CDL.
  • Must have physical strength and stamina to perform duties required to lift heavy objects of 100 pounds. Must have ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, squat, balance, stoop, crouch, crawl, push. and operate equipment in various weather conditions.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of line construction, engineering standards, safe work practices and procedures, system mapping and operations is required.
