What You'll Do

As a Restoration Technician, you'll be one of the first people on-site after a property has experienced water, fire, mold, storm, or other damage. Your work helps protect property, minimize further damage, and restore homes and businesses to their pre-loss condition.

Responsibilities include:

  • Respond to residential and commercial emergency restoration projects
  • Perform water, fire, mold, and storm damage mitigation
  • Remove damaged building materials through controlled demolition
  • Clean, sanitize, and deodorize affected areas
  • Pack, move, and inventory customer belongings with care
  • Operate restoration equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, extraction equipment, and specialty tools
  • Set up and monitor drying equipment
  • Complete job documentation using company software
  • Communicate professionally with customers throughout the restoration process
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including full-face respirators when necessary
  • Work closely with your team to deliver exceptional customer service

Qualifications

Required:

  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds, including awkward or irregularly shaped items
  • Ability to work in varying environments including heat, cold, moisture, dust, and confined spaces
  • Ability to wear a respirator and other required PPE
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call emergency response rotation
  • Reliable transportation

Preferred:

  • Construction, restoration, demolition, moving, cleaning, or mitigation experience
  • Experience operating hand and power tools
  • IICRC certifications (or willingness to obtain through company-paid training)

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • Typical hours: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Rotating on-call emergency response schedule
  • Overtime available during emergency response, large-loss projects, and seasonal demand
  • Commission opportunities for after-hours and weekend emergency calls
