Job description

Location: Richmond, TX

Pay: $22-$28/hr

Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM

Contract: Temporary. Potential to go permanent.


Job Summary


The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for supporting plant operations by receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials, equipment, and supplies. This position maintains accurate inventory records, ensures timely distribution of parts and materials, and helps keep the warehouse organized, safe, and compliant with company procedures.


Key Responsibilities


Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.

Maintain inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems and inventory controls.

Issue parts, tools, and materials to maintenance and operations personnel.

Organize warehouse stock and ensure proper storage of equipment and supplies.

Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.

Coordinate shipments, deliveries, and returns with vendors and carriers.

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.

Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse environment.

Follow all plant safety policies and procedures.


Qualifications


High school diploma or GED required.

Previous warehouse, inventory control, or industrial storeroom experience preferred.

Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.

Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial plant setting.
