Job description

Summary

Storeroom Attendant is an individual contributor positioned within a customer’s location to fulfil daily receiving, stocking, issuing, and cycle counting of customer and/or Vallen inventory. They are responsible for maintaining a professional, clean and organized work environment.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
​-Will be working on a small team and may need to cover other hours when needed between 6:30am-5:00pm - looking for someone who can be flexible within those hours with some notice
​-This is a 3-month temp assignment to provide coverage for an associate on medical leave. Potential for extension or temp to hire if the situation changes.
​-Must be reliable and able to work independently
​-This role requires someone who can be on their feet a lot moving throughout the facility
​-Must have strong attention to detail, familiarity with warehousing, inventory management.
​-Will assist with cycle counting.
​-Customer service skills required. Will engage with customer frequently.
​-Experience loading vending machines and/or forklift experience preferred (not required)
​-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
​-Must have reliable transportation as they may support a second location during inventory 2-3 times a year or when coverage is needed: 4200 Ruffin Rd., San Diego, CA 92123
