Job description

What you'll do:
  • Train, manage, and develop the warehouse team, including CDL drivers, delivery helpers, and warehouse partners
  • Devise and implement effective procedures for daily warehouse operations in line with company guidelines
  • Collaborate with management to identify and address operational issues
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by enforcing company policies and procedures
  • Direct all incoming and outgoing material shipments, ensuring organized and efficient handling
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer needs, suggest inventory changes, and ensure accurate control and record-keeping
  • Manage material movement and transfers, regularly spot-checking inventory
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse, yard, and store layout for maximum efficiency and safety
  • Work closely with the Regional Safety Manager to ensure adherence to safe operational procedures and timely reporting
  • Monitor employee performance, conduct evaluations, and make recommendations for improvements as needed

What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree, five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of both
  • Proven leadership experience in talent development, coaching, and guiding teams through change
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and adaptability in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours to achieve goals
