JOB DESCRIPTION
GENERAL FUNCTION
The Senior Manager, Store Systems leads the strategy, governance, implementation, and optimization of Pearle Vision's store technology ecosystem. This role partners with IT, Operations, Customer Care, Field Leadership, and vendors to deliver scalable solutions that enhance the customer experience, improve store operations, and support business growth. The position owns the business roadmap for store systems, ensuring successful implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of customer-facing technologies.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute the store systems roadmap aligned with business and customer experience objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional technology initiatives from planning through implementation, stabilization, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with IT to define business requirements, prioritize enhancements, and support system releases, testing, and deployments.
  • Oversee POS, Order Tracker, and customer transaction systems, ensuring operational excellence and long-term sustainment.
  • Establish governance, deployment standards, and best practices that drive consistent execution across stores.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
  • Lead issue resolution across business and technical teams, ensuring timely escalation and sustainable solutions.
  • Develop executive communications, project updates, business documentation, and field support materials.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, risks, priorities, and stakeholder expectations across multiple initiatives.
  • Build collaborative relationships with Field Operations, Customer Care, Brand partners, vendors, and leadership teams.
  • Develop KPIs and reporting to measure system performance, project success, and business outcomes.
  • Champion process improvement, technology adoption, and change management to maximize business value.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the business owner and escalation point for store system issues impacting operations and customer experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in retail operations, business systems, project management, or related disciplines.
  • 5+ years leading cross-functional technology or operational initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success delivering enterprise projects from planning through implementation.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Ability to travel when needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience leading retail technology, store systems, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of POS, Order Management, customer transaction systems, and omnichannel retail.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and change management.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of emerging retail technology trends and customer experience innovation
