Store security guards are professionals responsible for protecting retail stores from theft, vandalism, and other security threats. They monitor surveillance equipment, patrol the premises, and respond to suspicious activities to ensure the safety of customers, employees, and merchandise. Store security guards may also assist with crowd control, enforce store policies, and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary. Their presence helps deter criminal activity and maintain a safe shopping environment.
