Summary:
The Warehouse Operations Associate is a cross-trained, hands-on role responsible for supporting all operational functions within the furniture warehouse. This position plays a critical role in ensuring products are accurately pulled, prepared, received, shipped, and delivered while maintaining safety, efficiency, and high customer service standards. Associates in this role may work in the warehouse, assist with deliveries, and support daily operational needs assigned.
  • Full-Time:
  • Store, Pull, stage, and organize furniture and merchandise accurately for customer orders and deliveries
  • Prepare furniture for delivery, including inspection, wrapping, padding, labeling, and general delivery prep
  • Assist as a delivery driver/helper on furniture delivery routes as needed, ensuring safe handling of products and professional customer interaction
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, vendor shipments, and transfer shipments safely and efficiently
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties, including checking inbound freight, verifying quantities and condition, and documenting discrepancies
  • Stock, rotate, and organize inventory within the warehouse to ensure proper product flow and accessibility
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment such as standing lifts, dollies, carts, and hand tools
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with safety standards
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory accuracy efforts
  • Collaborate with warehouse, delivery, sales, and management teams to support daily operations
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse and delivery operations

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Prior warehouse, distribution, delivery, or furniture handling experience preferred but not required
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, physical environment
  • Willingness to be flexible with assigned duties, including warehouse work and delivery assistance
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  • Reliable attendance and positive teamwork attitude
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull furniture and heavy items in excess of 100 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation)
  • A CDL is NOT required for this position
