Client Overview
A leading luxury retail company is seeking a Retail Operations Associate to support daily store operations, inventory management, and back-of-house processes within an elevated retail environment.
Salary/Hourly Rate
$25/hr - $35/hr
Position Overview
The Retail Operations Associate will support the day-to-day operations of the store, with a strong focus on inventory accuracy, receiving shipments, processing transfers, replenishment, and maintaining organized back-of-house operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong retail operations or stock experience who is proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities Of The Retail Operations Associate
  • Support daily store operations, including receiving, tagging, organizing, and replenishing merchandise.
  • Receive and process inbound shipments and inter-store transfers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory management.
  • Perform cycle counts and support physical inventory processes.
  • Assist with identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process outbound shipments and client orders.
  • Maintain organized back-of-house areas and ensure merchandise is easily accessible.
  • Support visual merchandising initiatives by preparing and organizing product.
  • Partner with store leadership and sales associates to locate merchandise, sizes, colors, and styles.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for product movements, transfers, and shipments.
  • Ensure packaging and product handling meet company standards.
  • Support the sales floor as needed to enhance the client experience.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures and other operational tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of store supplies and packaging materials.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold store standards.
Required Experience/Skills For The Retail Operations Associate
  • 3–5+ years of experience in retail operations, stock, inventory, or a similar operations-focused role.
  • Strong experience receiving shipments, processing transfers, replenishing merchandise, and managing inventory.
  • Experience performing cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Ability to interact professionally with store leadership and sales teams.
