Store Manager in St. Thomas, ON

Starting Pay: $55,000/year

Job Type: Full-Time

Vacancy Status: This posting reflects an active, genuine vacancy.

This position is for the day shift with typical store hours between Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sunday. 

Dulux Paints, a division of Canadian Industries Ltd., is hiring immediately for the position of Full-Time Store Manager. Reporting to the Store Group Manager, you will use your talents to inspire others to achieve results. You will take on the challenge of running your own store, where you will lead your team to deliver outstanding customer service. You will be responsible for all aspects of store operations. 

Key Responsibilities May Include:

  • Opening and closing the Dulux branch. 
  • Achieving sales and profit goals by controlling expenses, managing working capital, inventory, and driving growth while optimizing net contribution. 
  • Maintaining Dulux's high customer service standards for yourself and your team. 
  • Fostering a high level of associate engagement through effective leadership. 
  • Hiring, leading, empowering, and managing your team successfully by partnering with and mentoring team members. 
  • Ensuring that the exterior and interior of the store, including cleanliness and merchandising displays, meet Bétonel/Dulux standards. 

Qualifications:

  • 1 or more years of experience in a retail store environment. 
  • Previous retail management experience or outside sales experience preferred. 
  • Availability to work flexible shifts and hours, with a minimum of 45 hours required per week. 
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, and carry up to 80 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds regularly. 
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada without employment-based visa sponsorship (now or in the future). This includes LMIA, TFWP, IMP, CUSMA, GTS, or any other employment-based visas.
