Description

Principal Duties And Responsibilities:

  • General Quality Control. Responsible for packing product that are within specifications, including size, color, shape, etc.
  • Assigned to clear jams in packing/labeling/casing area.
  • Produce to product specifications as specified by the customer.
  • Assist other general helper roles as assigned.
  • Maintain the area clean and safe – general housekeeping.

Other Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Commit to a continuous improvement work team environment.
  • Work weekends as assigned.
  • Other duties and/or projects assigned.

Scope Data:

  • No direct reports.
  • Reports to Plant Manager/takes direction from Foreperson.

Working Relationship:

  • Works closely with oven operator, packaging lead, quality and maintenance staff as needed, as well as other general helper positions.

Physical Demands:

  • Pushing, pulling, bending.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications Required:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience (Years/Type): Entry level.
