Job description

Assistant Store Manager
The Grocery Basket – Grenada, Mississippi
Job Description
The Grocery Basket is looking for a dependable, motivated, hands-on Assistant Store Manager to help lead the daily operation of our independent grocery store.
This is not an office-only management position. Our Assistant Store Managers are expected to be visible on the sales floor, work alongside the team, assist customers, stock merchandise, work trucks, support department managers, help the front end, maintain store conditions, and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership, recognizes what needs to be done, and is willing to step in wherever the store needs help. Strong customer service, leadership, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
At The Grocery Basket, our goal is to provide customers with a clean, full, friendly, and well-run neighborhood grocery store. Assistant Store Managers play an important role in making sure that happens every day.
