POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for performing custodial duties for retail store and production related areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Vacuums, sweeps, and mops flooring and stairs.

Clean and sanitize bathrooms.

Clean sinks, countertops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.

Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.

Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.

Dusts and cleans dressing rooms, store fixtures, office desks, furniture, etc.

Cleans windowsills and windows.

Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.

Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.

Responsible for monitoring inventory, cleaning supplies and paper products, for specific assigned work areas; re-supply when needed.

Understand and demonstrate the proper use of safety practices & ensure standards are maintained for the department.

Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established company policies and procedures.

Accomplishes organization mission by completing related assignments as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

6 months of custodial experience preferred.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.

Excellent customer service skills i.e. ability to communicate positively and consistently with the customer, co-workers and supervisor; delivering professional consistent results.
