JOB SUMMARY

  • Greet and assist guests and drive sales by understanding their needs and wants by offering assistance in a positive manner
  • Promote the brand in stores and at events in the community
  • Efficiently and accurately process transactions at the cash registers
  • Accurately receive and process incoming shipments as directed
  • Assist with inventory by completing cycle counts, counting physical inventory, stocking shelves, tables, and under cabinets
  • Assist with visual merchandizing activities, company store special events and sales as needed
  • Maintain store appearance by cleaning, dusting, and keeping sampling areas free of spill
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous retail or sales experience preferred
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office preferred) and have basic math skill
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. on occasion, stand several hours a day and climb ladders, bend, reach, squat, kneel, twist, push and pull and perform repetitive motions
  • Must be able to move large quantities of merchandise with carts, dollies, hand trucks and other moving equipment.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, on a regular basis
  • May be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week periodically as business needs require or to attend meetings or training outside of normal work schedule
