Pay:

• Day Shift: Starting at $16.50/hour
• Overnight (Graveyard) Shift: Starting at $17.50/hour

Starting pay is based on experience and performance. Performance-based raises are available.

Diamond General Store is a locally owned, family-operated convenience store located inside the world-famous Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki.

Open 24 hours a day, we proudly serve hotel guests, local residents, hospitality professionals, and visitors from around the world. Our team takes pride in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same.

We're looking for dependable, motivated Store Associates who enjoy working with people, staying busy, and being part of a supportive team.

Whether you're interested in Day Shift or Overnight (Graveyard) Shift, we'd love to hear from you.

Position Overview

As a Store Associate, you'll play an important role in delivering outstanding customer service while helping maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked store.

Our associates are more than cashiers—they're the face of our business and help create a positive experience for every customer who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with friendly, professional service and the spirit of aloha
• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently
• Process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions
• Restock merchandise and maintain attractive product displays
• Keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Assist customers with locating products and answering questions
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs
• Work efficiently as part of a small team
• Help maintain a safe and welcoming shopping environment

Overnight Associates May Also:

• Prepare the store for the morning rush
• Complete overnight stocking and recovery
• Maintain store appearance throughout the shift
• Work independently while ensuring smooth overnight operations

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who are:

• Friendly and customer-focused
• Honest, dependable, and punctual
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable and willing to work as part of a team
• Available to work weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working either day or overnight shifts

Retail, convenience store, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred, but not required. We are happy to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
