Job description

The Arcticom Group (TAG) is a network of commercial and industrial mechanical services companies providing HVAC and Refrigeration services and installation services throughout the United States and Canada. The National Sales & Business Development - Cold Storage is responsible for developing and nurturing long-term relationships with a portfolio of customers by connecting them with key business executives and stakeholders. This role serves as a critical liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams, ensuring timely, successful delivery of services aligned with customer needs. You'll manage and grow key accounts while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and trust. Your primary goal is to drive customer success through strategic account management and proactive support. This role supports National Accounts, but must be based out of the Southern California region.
Essential Functions:
  • Demonstrate a solid foundation and proven experience in Light Commercial, Cold Storage, and/or HVAC & Refrigeration service.
  • Generate leads and drive sales through existing industry contacts and business development efforts.
  • Engage clients in technical discussions, addressing concerns and designing customized, industry-proven solutions.
  • Independently prepare HVAC/R service proposals without relying on technical or administrative support.
  • Manage sales opportunities from prospecting through closeout in collaboration with regional operations.
  • Understand and navigate the economic dynamics of the HVAC/R industry.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities aligned with company growth strategy and capabilities.
  • Work collaboratively within account-focused teams, including strong communication with admin and operations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Perform additional duties as needed to support the overall success of the team.

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial/Industrial HVAC & Refrigeration service sales.
  • Must have Cold Storage experience
  • Self-motivated with a track record of success in a results-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Adaptable with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to write proposals and correspondence professionally.
  • Proficient in operating computers, business systems, and general office equipment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously (cost tracking, scheduling, progress monitoring).

  • Fast-paced work environment with frequent challenges and shifting priorities.
  • Work is performed in both office and field-based settings.
  • May involve an irregular or flexible work schedule based on client needs.
