Job description

Position is responsible for providing oversight and leadership for the efficient, cost-effective transport of product from Distribution warehouse to stores in a multi-state region. Incumbent serves as the sites Contact/Liaison with outside carriers on transportation and delivery concerns. Transportation Manager partners with the Outside Storage Manager on shipment and transport issues supporting the seasonal promotional business.   • 4 years of experience in Transportation and Logistics
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Communication with fellow Managers and Supervisors to address and resolve transportation issues.
  • Assists with the scheduling, receipt and delivery of the seasonal promotions business.
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provides feedback to direct reports.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
