Job description

Security
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information

Experience and Education
High school or equivalent education and experience in warehouse or distribution environment.
Job Duties
Complies with established departmental policies and procedures, operational goals, job performance evaluation goals, sanitation, infection control and fire safety goals. Completes and maintains job performance requirements and standards as established by departmental procedures. Maintains required records as directed. Participates in educational programs and inservice meetings. Attends meetings as required.
Assures proper rotation and storage of inventory in main day store- room, refrigerators, freezers, chemical and paper storage areas. Reports defective equipment, unattractive or questionalbe food, defective supplies, etc. to supervisor. Maintains good working relationships with vendors and delivery personnel.
Stores and pulls food items, staples, chemicals and paper products. Empties all boxes, bags, and trash made when storing or pulling stock. Pulls food items needed by production personnel from computer generated pick list day before it is needed and on day list suggests for thawing. Pulls all items needed for cafeteria, trayline and day storage areas per pick list, par stock level or supervisor request. Fills and delivers floor stock orders on timely basis. Stocks items to C-Store according to par levels on timely basis and rotates and stores product correctly.
Sweeps, mops, washes doors, walls, shelves and shines outside of doors in all refrigerators, freezers and storage areas. Cleans back hallway walls, floor, doors, windows, floor pictures and lockers. Sweeps and mops floors by departmental procedure. Shines outside of all stainless steel doors and door panels.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
