In support of our client's mission the Jones Lang LaSalle Facilities Manager will have responsibility for managing all site specific Facilities related activities. Reporting to the JLL IFM Director, the Manager will mentor, guide and support staff in creating, developing and executing a sustainable Integrated Facilities Management service delivery model for the site enabling JLL to meet and/or exceed our mission and site objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Manages corporate owned healthcare facility and other campus buildings including outpatient, and office space. This will include management of maintenance team which includes but is not limited to regulatory compliance and management, quality assurance activities and programs, financial performance and reporting and personnel management and development.
  • Regulatory compliance includes but not limited to DNV, AAAHC, DPH and local testing and permitting requirements.
  • Accountable for ensuring that all building systems and equipment are maintained in accordance with all applicable State/Federal/Local regulatory requirements. This includes all stationary equipment, i.e. boilers, chillers, compressors, pumps, air handlers, heat exchangers, underground storage tanks, and other such equipment
  • Accountable for financial performance related to Operational Facilities spend while ensuring adherence to established operating budgets.
  • Ensures staff training in approved practices and procedures related to proper facility maintenance techniques.
  • First point of escalation for all facility concerns and/or grievances by facility occupants.
  • Creates annual Individual Performance Management Program (IPMP) templates in conjunction with Human Resources for all direct reports.
  • Ensures that IPMP program is completed specific to Human Resources requirements.
  • Manages and encourages participation in the client and Jones Lang LaSalle Employee Recognition Awards programs
  • Partners with JLL Strategic Sourcing and Contracts Managers to ensure all vendor contracts are properly implemented and executed consistent with the identified scope of work and requirements of the MSA.
  • As needed, provides oversight/support to Project Mgt & Sourcing Teams in the delivery of maintenance, projects and vendor activities supporting critical operations and/or functions.
  • Creates a safe work environment for staff by ensuring adherence to all safety/infection control policies and procedures/practices to include but not limited to the wearing of appropriate protective clothing and gear and the proper handling of contaminated equipment and tools
  • Comply with all Jones Lang LaSalle policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.
  • Attend and actively participate as needed and required in site committee meetings (Environment of Care, Emergency Management, Process Improvement, etc.)
  • Tracks, trends and recommends action plans with regard to KPI/SLA below standard performance (MSA Driven) for Facility Operations/Engineering Services.
  • Determines the degree of compliance with applicable standards, as directed by Jones Lang LaSalle management.
  • Maintains working knowledge and ensures compliance with the Master Services Agreement (MSA) and any other relevant amendments or appendices which guide Jones Lang LaSalle's relationship with the client.

Qualifications

  • College degree in a related Engineering field, formal apprenticeship program or technical trade school, preferred.
  • 3+ years of commercial Facility Management, Plant Operations, Engineering, or maintenance supervision experience, hospital experience preferred.
  • Managerial experience required with proven budget and personnel responsibilities.
  • Regulatory compliance experience including, but not limited to TJC, DNV, AAAHC, and WA DPH.
  • Fully knowledgeable of activities necessary to produce a state of perpetual compliance.
  • Fundamental skills in building critical systems such as HVAC, electrical and mechanical, life safety systems, power distribution systems is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including report writing ability
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

Estimated compensation for this position:

1,000,000.00 โ€“ 150,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
