Under the direction ofSite Manager,the Assistant Site Manageris responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the shop, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and maintaining efficient and high-quality service delivery. This role involves managing a team of staff, implementing operational procedures, and driving financial performance to meet or exceed company goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical knowledge relevant to the shop's industry, and outstanding organizational skills. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, handling customer inquiries and complaints, optimizing workflows, managing inventory and supplies, and analyzing financial reports to ensure the shop's profitability and operational success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of repair jobs.
  • Implement and uphold operational procedures and policies to boost shop efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage repair job scheduling to optimize resource use and minimize downtime.

Customer Service:

  • Maintain high customer service standards by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints swiftly.
  • Build and sustain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise shop staff, including laborers, carmen, welders, and administrative personnel.
  • Support the On-Site Manager in conducting performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor and manage the shop's budget, ensuring financial targets are met and expenses are controlled.
