The Distribution Associate II position is responsible for safely and efficiently loading, unloading, driving, and delivering products and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Drive and transport product safely and in a timely manner over required route, consisting of up to one overnight stay per route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations
  • Accurately record and maintain all orders and deliveries electronically
  • Use a forklift to assist workers in loading and unloading product, and securing product to flatbeds
  • Follow all DOT regulations, along with using a tablet device to record driving/working hours
  • Refuel and clean vehicle.
  • Inspect trucks, record issues and report mechanical problems.
  • Follow accident procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment
Will work mainly on the road driving and delivering to other warehouses within the regional area and outside in the stone yard loading product onto trucks.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This position requires the ability to sit for prolonged periods of time while on the road driving, ability to drive as required for the position, the ability to pass DOT medical/physical exam, and safely lift over 75lbs. While performing the duties of this job, this position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands to fingers, wrist/arms, handle, feel or operate objects and reach with hands and arms.
Required Education and Experience
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Commercial Drivers License
  • Clean driving record
  • DOT Medical Card
  • 1+ years warehouse or distribution center experience
  • Forklift experience
  • Service work experience

Preferred Education and Experience
  • 6+ months experience driving a semi or flatbed
  • Fork lift operation certificate
