Job description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Associate to support our busy outdoor supply yard. This role is responsible for loading and unloading materials, maintaining an organized yard, and providing excellent customer service. This is a hands-on, outdoor position ideal for someone who enjoys physical work and being part of a team.

Location: Stone Center- North Kingstown

Compensation: $18.00 โ€“ $22.00 per hour, based on experience and equipment certifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload delivery trucks and customer vehicles
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts and loaders (if certified)
  • Organize and maintain yard and warehouse inventory
  • Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and handled safely
  • Assist customers with product selection and loading
  • Maintain cleanliness of yard, warehouse, tools, and equipment
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Complete required documentation and daily tasks
  • Support team operations and provide a positive customer experience
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Rhode Island Hoisting License (or willingness to obtain)
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
