Job description

Job Title: Technician
Location: South Plainfield, NJ
Work Model: Onsite - Contract to Hire
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7AM to 330PM or 9am to 530pm
Pay: $21-$22/hour
TECHNICIAN
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitor automated production equipment and assist with light assembly.
  • Follow cleanroom protocols (gowning required) and standard operating procedures.
  • Visually inspect photonic components and support basic handling tasks.
  • Log basic production data and notify supervisors of abnormalities.
  • Keep the workstation and cleanroom area organized and compliant.
  • Work with engineers and technicians as part of a collaborative, high-precision team.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable with repetitive tasks.
  • Prior semiconductor, photonics or cleanroom experience preferred, however, full training is provided.
  • Mandarin fluency is a plus, but not required.
