Join the heart of campus life at the University of Arizona Student Unions, where culinary creativity meets community. We're seeking a passionate Dining Services Attendant, Senior to bring their skills to our dynamic team. As a Dining Services Attendant, Senior you will perform various duties necessary in the preparation of service of food. They provide quality customer service to students, faculty, staff and guests.
This position requires flexibility to work days, evening, weekend and holidays as needed work.
Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Inputs &receives and puts away storeroom orders.
  • Prepares unitfor opening, stocking, signs, cleanliness, and equipment.
  • Sets upSequoia, retrieves banks, prepares market and food as needed.
  • Monitors foodquality and employee productivity.
  • Ensures allareas are staffed.
  • Openlycommunicates with staff and supervisor.
  • Completesproduct orders as required.
  • Trainsemployees in their job duties and health codes.
  • Activelydevelops and supports a team-based focus within Student Union.
  • Rings up ordersaccurately, accepts money and returns correct change.
  • Counts bank toverify accuracy.
  • Enters totalson reports as required.
  • Participates inemployee discipline and guidance.
  • Has knowledgeof and actively supports labor cost and food cost budgets.
  • Oversees andassists with weekly inventory.
  • Controls laborand food costs.
  • Performs forecasting, service needs and modify delivery information in Food Pro.
  • Greets andserves customers in a friendly courteous manner.
  • Providessuggestions and input to supervisor.
  • Actively solvesproblems wherever possible.
  • Worksharmoniously with coworkers.
  • Ensures allareas are staffed; delegates job assignments.
  • Additionalduties as assigned.

Knowledge,Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Knowledge offood service operations, including sanitation standards and food preparation.
  • Knowledge ofand actively supports labor cost and food cost budgets.
  • Knowledge offood service equipment, such as steamers, slicers, and fryers.
  • Knowledge of Food Pro.
  • Ability tocommunicate effectively.

PhysicalRequirement:
  • Occasionallylift a maximum of 50lbs.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims.
